Dr. Anthony Powers is a lifelong resident of Long Island. Growing up in the north shore community of Mount Sinai, Dr. Powers excelled in academics and athletics. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at SUNY Cortland. At Stony Brook University Dental School he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree, finishing in the top of his class. Dr. Powers completed his General Practice Residency at NYU Winthrop Hospital where he had extensive training in dental surgery as well as restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He has traveled as part of multiple outreach missions including the Dominican Republic, providing dental care to underserved communities.

Dr. Powers is a member of the American Dental Association(ADA), the New York State Dental Society(NYSDS), the Suffolk County Dental Society(SCDS) and the Stony Brook Dental School Alumni Association. Anthony is the 3rd of four boys raised by Raymond and Dina Powers. He enjoys exercising, golf, outdoor activities and spending time with his family and dog, Nala.
